One Piece: Unlimited World Red Game’s Multi-Platform Promo Streamed

PS3/Vita/Wii U versions slated for Japan on June 12

Namco Bandai Games posted a six-minute multi-platform promotional video for its upcoming game One Piece: Unlimited World Red on 31st March, 2014. The video proclaims that the game is heading to the PlayStation 3, PS Vita, and Wii U platforms on June 12. It also features the opening theme song “Hashire!” and introduces the game’s environments like Trans Town, battles, mini-games such as fishing and bug-catching, villains, and more.

The game allows for up to four players to play together, and players can explore the world of One Piece with their friends. Players can embark on different quests and battle enemies with many of the manga and anime’s familiar characters. The game also allows players to fish, catch bugs, hunt for treasure, and more to develop and train their characters as various side activities. The game features the original character Red (voiced by Masachika Ichimura), the game’s nemesis who aims to be the Pirate King. Standing in his way are the Straw Hat Pirates and a new raccoon character named Pat (TARAKO).
