The November issue of Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine announced on October 22, 2016, that Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro’s Akame ga KILL! manga will end in the January issue on December 22. Earlier in the 14th compiled volume released in August it was revealed that the manga’s 15th volume will be the last. The volume is slated for a release this winter.
The final arc in the manga began in 2014, which had 3.3 million copies of series in print and also inspired TV anime that aired on Toonami.
The 14th compiled book volume of Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro’s Akame ga KILL! manga revealed on Monday that the manga’s 15th volume will be the last. The volume is slated for this winter.
In addition, the 14th volume’s wraparound jacket band revealed that the manga series, including the Akame ga KILL! Zero spinoff, has 3,300,000 copies in print.
The manga entered its final arc in the 12th volume in 2014.
