Blood-C Anime Live-Action Film With New Story Announced

Anime with CLAMP designs premiered in 2011, inspired anime film in 2012 and is not inspiring a live-action film with new story scheduled for this Fall season.

The “Asura Girl Project” launched a website on Friday to announce that CLAMP and Production I.G’s Blood-C anime series will receive a live-action film adaptation. The title of the film is ‘Asura Shōjo: Blood-C Ibun” (Asura Girl: Blood-C Another Story), and it will premiere in Japan in early fall.

The film will feature a completely new story set in the military regime of pre-World War II Japan, and will follow a bloody conflict that erupts between villagers and Japan’s Special Higher Police forces.
